Rekooland Co., a Japanese company providing residential and event lighting services, has launched a mobile battery-type solar power generator unit, the Sunbreath-A300, it was announced on April 20, 2011. Sunbreath-A300 can supply power for emergency back-up, work sites or event venues.

The generator unit consists of two 210-watt solar panels and a 3-kilowatt battery pack, and is equipped with two 100-AC power outlets. When fully charged, it can power an electric device with a maximum 300-watt capacity for about eight hours. It can provide power also at night and indoors because of its solar-powered battery storage system.

The Sunbreath-A300 is 206 centimeters long, 150 cm wide, and 70 cm high. The panels can be adjusted to three different angles (25, 30, 35 degrees) to effectively collect sunlight, and two panels can be folded together, shortening the length of the unit to 102 centimeters. Although it weights 140 kilograms, casters attached at each corner of the unit provide ease of transportation and mobility.

The company is also planning to release another product, the Sunbreath-A1000, with a maximum output of 1,000 watts, which also has two panels and a 5-kilowatt battery.
