The company will expand the number of new job categories to utilize the abilities and vocational aptitude of the female workers. It also plans to choose female candidates for future managerial positions from junior managers and to implement work-skill development programs according to three-year career development plans drawn up for each candidate.

Moreover, the company will appoint female regular workers other than junior managers as leaders for in-house small group activities, aiming to cultivate their skills of leadership and problem-solving and to boost their motivation to participate in the corporate management.

To implement the program effectively, the company is enhancing its support system to enable female workers to balance their careers with child-bearing and child-raising. In order to raise manager-level awareness, it obligates managers, as part of their own performance evaluations, to work out plans to develop the potential of female employees.
