The joint technical work will focus on research and development of substitutes for toxic substances that are expected to be regulated in the future (hexavalent chromium, lead, mercury, cadmium, and specific brominated flame retardants). These substances are found in products manufactured by both companies. Moreover, they will develop and share environmental education deliverables for employees and their families, and for consumers.
