Kinan Tour Design Center Wins Japan's 8th Ecotourism Awards

The Kinan Tour Design Center was selected, from among 65 applications, for the Grand Prix at the Eighth Ecotourism Awards by Japan's Ministry of the Environment on March 1, 2013.
The center organizes eco-tours in the local community of Kumano, Mie Prefecture. During the tours around the Kumano area, including the Kumano Kodo, experts who are thoroughly knowledgeable about the area provide information on its unique attractions from their points of view on nature and history. Ten years after its launch, the center continues to develop various activities both in and out of the area.
